RICHMOND, Va. – For the second straight year, every VCU men's basketball game will be broadcast on TV.
Thanks to great partnerships with Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic (CSN), MASN and WTVR CBS 6, the final seven regular season games have been picked up. CSN will broadcast three games, while MASN and CBS 6 will each have two games on the slate.
Road games at Old Dominion and Illinois State will be carried on Comcast SportsNet Plus (CSN Plus) and SNY, while the home game against East Tennesse State will be carried on CSN Plus.
MASN will carry the home tilts against Belmont and the Atlantic 10 home opener against newcomer Davidson. WTVR CBS 6 rounds out the slate with the Maryland-Eastern Shore game on CBS 6.3 and the Cleveland State contest on CBS 6.
When you combine the reach of all the local and regional networks broadcasting these seven games, it reaches close to 21 million households.
"We are extremely excited about these relationships with our local media partners which will allow us to once again broadcast all 31 of our regular season games this year," Director of Athletics Ed McLaughlin said. "As our program continues to gain national influence we will continue to work with our local, regional and national television partners to provide maximum exposure for our program."
VCU is one of just three non-BCS schools in the country to have every game on live TV for the second straight year.
