RICHMOND, Va. - Have you ever dreamed of sprinting out of the dugout at the Diamond, donning the black and gold, and representing VCU as a member of its baseball team?
If so, you might want to get your calendar ready.
On September 16, the Virginia Commonwealth University baseball team will be holding walk-on tryouts at the Diamond.
All interested have to complete the tryout approval form and physical packet located on this page. You must use these forms provided. Both the physical form and the VCU tryout form must be completed prior to the tryout.

Walk on requirements: In order to try out, you must meet the following criteria:
- Registered as a full-time (at least 12 credit hours) degree-seeking student at VCU
- Meet NCAA's certification requirements
- Complete a physical prior to trying out (including a sickle cell screening)
Physicals and sickle cell screening can be completed at the VCU student health center or at a doctor's office of your choice. All appointments are to be paid for on your own.
