NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – After hitting .421 this past week James Bunn was honored as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week.
Bunn played a pivotal roll in the Rams' 4-1 record this week, batting out of the two spot the Princeton, N.J. native posted eight hits, including one double. The sophomore leftfielder also scored nine runs for an offense that racked up 29 runs over the week.
On the year Bunn holds the second best batting average on the team at .355 and has scored the most runs, with nine.
Bunn and the Rams return to action tomorrow when they play host to East Carolina at The Diamond, with first pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
