2014/SENIOR

  • Appeared in all 57 games for VCU, logging 54 starts at first base.
  • Collected a hit in the final four Atlantic 10 Tournament games.
  • Recorded his first career three hit day on Feb. 21 against Furman. Marino also had three RBIs on the day.
  • The first baseman posted back-to-back two-RBI games against St. Bonaventure on March 22 and 23.
  • Marino provided the RBI for the Rams walk-off win over the Bonnies on March 23, with a bases loaded walk.
  • Scored four runs in VCU's 21-14 win at Virginia Tech on March 12.

2013/JUNIOR

  • Made 41 appearances, with 29 starts in the field, while making three starts on the mound for the Rams in 2013.
  • Finished the season with a .267 batting average, with three doubles and 12 RBIs.
  • Collected his first VCU hit and RBI against Boston College on Feb. 15.
  • Went 2-for-4 against VMI on April 6.
  • Posted a season-high three hits in a 3-for-5 day with two RBIs against Dayton on April 20.
  • Colected a season-high three RBIs against George Washington on May 12.
  • On the mound, he posted a 1-0 record, throwing 7.2 innings allowing five runs on five hits with six strikeouts. 
  • Went a season-high 3.0 innings picking up his first VCU win on March 5 against George Mason. He did not allow a hit while striking out four.

  • Played two seasons at West Valley Junior College in California
  • Was named First Team All-Conference in 2012
  • Played in 37 games hitting .304 with 18 RBI, 30 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases in 2012

  • Played baseball and basketball for four seasons at Leland High School in San Jose, Calif.
