Biography
THE BASICS
- Well-rounded guard with impressive 3-point range
- Third VCU player in recent years to graduate from Vashon High School in St. Louis, Mo. (Nick Kern Jr., Levi Stockard III)
- Graduate transfer from UT-Arlington who will have one season of eligibility remaining; Enters the 2024-25 campaign with nearly 1,400 career points and nearly 200 career 3-pointers

- 2024 Western Athletic Conference Sixth Man of the Year
- 2024 WAC All-Tournament Team
- Missed the early part of the season due to changing transfer regulations, appeared in 22 games; Averaged 14.9 points on 41.2 percent shooting from the field, including 38 percent from 3-point range, as well as 4.4 assists per game
- Helped lead UT-Arlington to a 20-14 overall record and a WAC Tournament Championship Game appearance
- Recorded season-high 10 assists in the WAC tournament semifinals against Tarleton State
- Erupted for a season-high 30 points on 7-of-10 three-point shooting against Stephen F. Austin in the WAC Quarterfinals
- Poured in a season-high 28 points in a season-opening contest against Air Force
- Topped the 20-point mark seven times

SOPHOMORE (2022-23)
- 2023 All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team
- Awarded OVC All-Tournament team honors after averaging 18 points and 4.3 assists per tournament game
- Led the Redhawks to their OVC conference tournament title in 23 years and an NCAA tournament berth, where Southeast Missouri lost 75-71 to Texas A&M Corpus-Christi in the First Four round
- Averaged a team-high 18.1 points, 5.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 34 starts
- Recorded a team-high 82 three-pointers at a 36.1 percent rate
- Ranked 11th in the country in free throws made (173) and 26th in total assists (174)
- Became only the third player in the last 25 years to lead the OVC in points and assists in the same season; the other two were Murray State’s Ja Morant (2018-19) and Cameron Payne (2014-15)
- Broke the Southeast Missouri Division I single-season school record with 615 points scored
- Scored the fifth most “clutch” points of any player, tallying 79 in the last five minutes of regulation or overtime
- Tied SEMO’s single-game scoring record twice, with two 37-point performances coming against Morehead State and Little Rock
- Scored 30+ points three times in three weeks, as well as a separate 29-point outing
FRESHMAN (2021-22)
- Averaged 13.4 points per game on 41.9 percent shooting in 30 starts – good for the second-highest output on the team
- Led the Redhawks with 95 assists and 37 steals
- Broke SEMO’s single-season scoring record for a freshman with a 35-point performance against SIU Edwardsville
- Only the second D-I freshman in the previous 25 years to have a game with 35+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 5+ steals; the other belongs to three-time NBA All-Star and 1st overall pick Ben Simmons at LSU (2015)
SAINT LOUIS (2020-21)
- Walk-on during COVID impacted campaign – played in eight games off the bench and scored 17 total points
- Season-best five points on two occasions – at Fordham (Feb. 13) and at Dayton (Feb. 19)
PRIOR TO VCU
- Averaged 15.7 points per game en route to claiming all-state honors as a senior at Vashon High School in 2019-20
- Shot 45 percent from the field and 56.8 percent from 3-point range the same year
- Led the Wolverines to a state title his junior season and had the team in the state semifinals his senior year before the tournament was canceled due to COVID
