2008/FRESHMAN

• Appeared in 36 games for the Rams, starting 25
• Finished the year with a .224 average, with 12 runs scored, six doubles, two home runs and 17 RBI
• Blasted three-run triple against Bucknell (3/1)
• Tallied two RBI doubles in home win over East Carolina (3/5)
• Launched first collegiate home run in 5-3 road win at VMI (4/8)
• Came off the bench to blast a two-run bomb at James Madison (4/26)
• Collected two hits and two RBIs in road win over Hofstra (5/11)

PRIOR TO VCU

• Four-year letter-winner in baseball, two-year letter-winner in basketball at Motoaca
• Earned Second-Team All-District honors as an outfielder during his sophomore campaign after hitting .430 and driving in 27 RBI
• Named to the All-Academic All-District three times
• Earned Second-Team All-Region and All-Metro for his junior season
• Also named to the First-Team All-District and First-Team All-Tri-Cities for that junior year when he hit .450 with five home runs and 30 RBI
• Helped lead the Warriors to the Regular Season, District Tournament and Central Virginia Regional Championships in 2006
• Named Team Captain and Team MVP during his final season with Matoaca
• Earned First-Team All-State, First-Team All-Region, First-Team All-Metro and First-Team All-District during that 2007 season
• Led the Warriors with a batting average of .509, seven home runs and 39 RBI
• Named the Player of the Year for the Tri-Cities
• School record-holder for career RBIs with 96 and single-season home runs with seven
