  • Experienced underclassmen who will add depth to the VCU bullpen

WHILE WITH THE RAMS

2014/FRESHMAN

  • Made his first appearance as a Ram on March 12 against Virginia Tech. The reliever went 2.0 innings and allowed two runs.
  • Proved to be a steady option out of the VCU bullpen logging 18.1 innings in 10 relief appearances.
  • The righty didn't allow an earned run in five out of his 10 appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Graduated from Trinity Episcopal School where he played baseball all four years and one year of JV volleyball
  • Helped his team make three appearances in the state tournament, reaching the state final in 2013
  • Captained the Titans his final two years as a prep
  • Given the Titan Award after his junior season for his leadership
  • Fanned 62 batters in 41.1 innings as a junior
  • Named team MVP his senior year on the diamond
  • Awarded Prep League Player of the Year, first-team All-State and second-team All-Metro after his final season at Trinity Episcopal
  • Went 7-1 during his senior season with a 1.62 ERA
  • Played summer ball for RBA West (2012), in the Commonwealth Games for the central Virginia team (2012) and for American Legion Post 186 (2013)
  • Earned the Bill Davies Award for school spirit and enthisasm his final year at Trinity Episcopal
