2016/JUNIOR

• Appeared in  54 games (53 starts), batting .285 on the season.
• Led the team in slugging percentage (.463), doubles (14), runs scored (46), home runs (8),  and Walks (25).
• Was top five on the team in batting average (.285), on base percentage (.379), hits (61), RBI (31),  and total bases (99).
• Had 15 multi-hit games, including eight three-hit games.
• Went 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI at Virginia (4/20).
• Went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI at Presbyterian (5/15).

2015/SOPHOMORE

• Appeared in 56 games, making 51 starts
• Hit .270 on the season, hitting a team-leading eight home runs
• Recorded nine doubles, one triple, and knocked in 31 RBI

2014/FRESHMAN

• First career hit was a pinch-hit solo home run in the Rams 7-0 win over St. Bonaventure on March 21.
• Made two starts for the Rams in the DH spot, in those games Carpenter went 2-for-6.
• Took the field three times during the season, each time patroling first base.
• Pinch hit 12 times for VCU

PRIOR TO VCU

• Played Baseball all four years at Varina High School in Henrico, Va.
• Hit .350 with four home runs in his freshman season for Varina.
• Posted a career high eight home runs during his sophmore season, the highest total in the central region.
• Recorded a career high .450 average his junior season with six home runs.
• Named second team all-district short stop for his final three seasons with the Blue Devils.
• Selected as his team's offensive MVP all four seasons at Varina High School.
• Holds the record for most career home runs at Varina High School with 24.
• Played club ball for the Tidewater Orioles scout team.
