• Pitched a complete game shutout against Marist (3/7) while striking out four and walking one.
• Struck out 15 while only allowing one run in six innings at La Salle (4/16).
• Allowed one run over seven innings of work against Saint Louis (5/7).

PRIOR TO VCU:

• Key part of two championship teams at Delgado Community College in Louisiana
• Was 15-5 during his two-year stint at Delgado with a 2.66 ERA
• Was critical in leading Delgado to a pair of NJCAA World Series appearances
• Was a NJCAA Academic All-American
• Well-established High School athlete, named All-District in both Baseball and Football junior and senior seasons.
• Was named All-State, All-Metro, and District MVP in Baseball in his senior year in 2013.
• Graduated High School Magna Cum Laude and was a part of National Honors Society.

• Brother, Jared, plays baseball at Louisiana State-Shrievport (bio)
• Father, Kenneth, played baseball at University of Louisiana-Monroe
• Had a Division I football offer as a punter
