The VCU Baseball Legends make up the VCU baseball program's Hall of Fame, honoring the accomplishments, contributions and lasting impact of former Rams baseball players, coaches and staff members. The esteemed list recognizes individuals that were greatly influential during their time with the program, stretching back to the team’s inaugural season as Virginia Commonwealth University in 1969 and beyond, when the Richmond Professional Institute squad began to lay the foundation for what would become the prestigious VCU baseball program.    Since the program’s inception, hundreds of Rams have upheld the long-standing standard of excellence and shaped the landscape for future generations of Rams. In the last 50 years alone, VCU has produced 15 Major League Baseball players, 57 MLB Draft selections, 14 NCAA tournament appearances, 10 conference tournament championships and seven regular season titles, all while developing Hall of Famers, All-Americans and Conference Players of the Year. The first VCU Baseball Legends class was inducted in 2006, consisting of six names, and has expanded to highlight over 40 VCU baseball greats.   Playing on or coaching for VCU teams which led the program to never-before-seen heights in their respective times, setting countless records along the way, the Rams baseball program is honored to introduce the Legends of VCU Baseball.
