RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Basketball fans can catch a glimpse of the 2026-27 Rams on Sunday, Oct. 4 at the annual Black and Gold Game at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. The event is set to kick off at 2 p.m. and will feature both the VCU Men's and Women's Basketball teams, as well as The Peppas and the Rams' spirit squads.
 
The Black and Gold Game is FREE to the public, and all seating is general admission. Doors will open at 1 p.m. Fans arriving early are welcome to watch Head Coach Chelsea Banbury's new-look VCU Women's Basketball squad during an open practice, prior to the start of the Black and Gold Game. Fans can also enjoy half off select beers at the Siegel Center lobby concession stand from 1-2 p.m.
 
Season ticket holders will be invited, via email, to an exclusive Q&A session with student-athletes from both teams at 12:30 p.m. Men's and Women's Basketball season ticket holders will receive an email later this week with more information about entry and tickets for the Q&A panel.
