QUOTABLE
"I was proud of the effort from the guys tonight with so many people missing. I don't think the score was really indicative of the game as a whole but that's football sometimes. There were several key moments that went against us that made things look different at the end. Playing here against a good team is tough enough, but there were also some really key decisions that played an enormous role in the game that, quite frankly, I just can't explain and I won't say more than that," Head Coach Dave Giffard said.

UP NEXT
VCU will extend its road trip into next weekend, taking on Duquesne in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Saturday, October 24 before returning home on Saturday, October 31, for the regular season finale against George Mason at the VCU Athletic Village.
