- Ana Afonso opened the scoring in the 16th minute as she redirected a pass from Aalderink following a penalty corner
- VCU went up 3-0 in the 22nd minute as White scored
- The Rams went up 2-0 in the 39th minute after Macera scored on a penalty corner with assists from Behrmann and Ventimiglia
- The Rams scored the final goal in the 53rd minute as Afonso got her second goal of the game, scoring off on a penalty corner with assists from Behrmann and Ventimiglia
