PITCH SIDE
  • Kai Feng scored his second goal of the season with
  • For the second consecutive game, Lucas White tallied an assist
  • Junior goalkeeper Trevor Maloney played a career-high 90 minutes
  • The Rams allowed just two shots on goal for the second straight match

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Rams started the match with a stellar defensive performance, holding possession for over 60% of the opening period and not allowing a Campbell shot until the 34th minute
  • D. Hayes opened the offensive effort in the 17th minute, but Campbell goalkeeper Max Leviton made his first of four saves
  • In the 58th minute, Feng got the Rams on the board, heading a perfectly placed ball from White and Johnson into the lower left corner to take the 1-0 lead
  • Returning with a late answer in the 80th minute, Campbell managed to sneak the equalizer past Maloney
  • Possibly the best chance for the Rams to come back was in the 82nd minute, as Mohammed Ibrahim drew a penalty, but another Leviton save for CU locked down the 1-1 draw
