The short story: The Rams performance was highlighted by eight personal bests, including
Sydney Carr in the triple jump and
Jaliyah Person in the 400-meter dash, as they compete in their second meet of the outdoor season.
JUMPS
- Sydney Carr built on her strong end to the season in the triple jump, setting a new personal best of 12.41 meters to finish fourth in the event. Carr had previously earned silver in the triple jump at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships
- Two Rams recorded top-20 finishes in the high jump, with redshirt sophomore Selkis Elong clearing 5.64 meters to finish 11th and sophomore Amaya Wiggins jumping 5.54 meters to place 16th
SPRINTS
- Sophomore Jaliyah Person set a new personal best in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.63 seconds, finishing tenth. Person's time is the fifth best in program history and currently sits as the top mark in the A-10. Freshman Kyndal Jones also recorded a personal best in the event
THROWS
- Sophomore Madison Griffin notched a personal best in the javelin throw with a distance of 46.18 meters to finish seventh
- Eryn Byrd set a new personal best in the shot put with a mark of 14.88 meters, earning an eighth-place finish
- In the discus throw, Anaya Harris set a new personal record with a throw of 45.75 meters, finishing 14th. Harris improved on her previous best of 44.52 meters, which she recorded at the UCF Black and Gold Invitational during the opening weekend of the outdoor season
- Sophomore Blanca Pereira recorded a top-ten finish in the hammer throw with a distance of 57.49 meters, placing as the top Ram in the event. Pereira's mark is good for best in the A-10
HURDLES
- Freshman Tori Lewis set a new personal best in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.95, finishing as the top Ram in the event. Senior Sophie Heinold also recorded a personal best in the event
RELAYS
DISTANCE
- Nia Warren recorded a new personal best in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:12.31

The Rams next travel to Fairfax, Va. to compete in the Dalton Ebanks Invitational hosted by George Mason on Friday to Saturday, April 4-5.
