The Short Story: VCU played their first Atlantic 10 match of the season on Sunday, which saw the Rams roll past crosstown rivals Richmond 7-0, to get their first shutout of the season

- The Rams would grab the doubles point with a 6-2 win by German Samofalov and Erwann Bouchet on court one and a 6-3 win by Gevorg Mnatsakanyan and Leon Zaorski on court three.
- German Samofalov would give the Rams a 2-0 lead with a dominant 6-3, 6-3 win on court one.
- Freshmen Erwann Bouchet and Leon Zaorski would both win their singles matches 6-4, 6-2 on courts three and four, respectively, to help clinch the dual match for the Black and Gold.
