QUOTABLE
"Dayton is a really tough place to play. The team is good and they don't lose at home very often. Obviously, we are disappointed with the result, but in games like tonight's, you have to take chances when they come. We had chances to get the third, fourth and even fifth but we didn't take them. Credit to Dayton they created chances and forced us into mistakes that gave them chances and they took them very well," Head Coach
Dave Giffard said on the game.
Â
On the next stage for the Rams, Giffard said this of the NCAA Selection Show: "Unfortunately, now we leave things in the hands of the committee and will have to keep an eye on all the results while we prepare and try to improve over the next week and a half hoping to hear our name called [in the NCAA Selection Show]. We've had a strong body of work and I feel as though this is an NCAA tournament team, but it's out of our hands now. All we can do is focus on continuing to improve and wait to see if we get an opportunity to continue playing."
