HOW IT HAPPENED:

- VCU started the game 2-of-18 from the floor and 0-of-9 from 3-point range to trail UT Arlington 12-6 after the first quarter
- The Mavericks built a 30-15 lead with 2:14 left before halftime following a 9-0 run. VCU trailed 30-18 at the break
- UT Arlington went on a 16-2 run to make it 57-30 with 4:35 left in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win
