OPENING VOLLEY
- Kujundzic, who was also a perfect 14-for-14 in reception, added five assists for the Black and Gold
- Graduate middle blocker Jasmine Knight fired six kills and three blocks, while hitting .600 for the Rams
- VCU also received six kills apiece from sophomore Akire Jones and junior Julia Rienks. Rienks added four blocks, including a pair of solos
- Amanda Rice sparked the Wolfpack with a match-high 12 kills
THE DIFFERENCE
- VCU struggled to make inroads offensively against N.C. State. The Rams hit .068 in the contest and failed to surpass the .100 mark in any of the match's three sets
- N.C. State hit .248 on the evening
- The Wolfpack owned a 51-47 edge in digs and a 6-0 advantage in service aces
- The Rams did record 9.5 blocks on the night
- The Black and Gold won a sideout in just 45 percent of its opportunities Friday
