The Short Story:Â VCU led 57-51 with 5:27 remaining in the contest before the Billikens went on a 14-6 run to close the game and knock off the Rams.

- Sarah Te-Biasu scored a game-high 22 points, going 9-of-17 from the floor and 4-of-11 from 3-point range. She also added three steals and three assists

- The Rams went just 8-of-15 at the free throw line while Saint Louis was 19-of-21

HOW IT HAPPENED
- VCU got out to an early 4-0 lead before Saint Louis answered with a 9-2 run and led 9-6 with 4:39 left to play in the first
- The remainder of the quarter was back-and-forth before a pair of Timaya Lewis-Eutsey free throws gave VCU a 14-13 lead heading into the second
- The Rams led 19-17 before an 13-1 run by the Billikens put VCU behind 30-20 with 4:44 left before halftime
- VCU would fight to close the deficit and trailed just 34-29 at the half after an Ezeh layup with 26 seconds left before the break
- VCU trailed the entire third quarter but kept it close, never trailing by more than five points and headed into the final quarter down just 47-44
- Saint Louis built its lead to 51-47 with 8:13 remaining before an Asare 3-pointer sparked a 10-0 run by the Rams as they led 57-51 with 5:27 to play
- VCU struggled down the stretch offensively as the Billikens went on a 14-6 run to close the game
- The Rams had a chance to tie the game down 63-60 with 27 seconds remaining but turned the ball over
