The short story: VCU tied the program record for fewest goals allowed as the Rams routed Duquesne in a 20-5 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • VCU and Duquesne were tied 2-2 with 9:09 left in the first quarter before VCU took control, scoring nine unanswered goals to lead 11-2 with 9:37 left in the second quarter
  • The Rams pushed their lead to 14-3 at halftime after Mullenbach's goal with 3:10 left before the break
  • The Rams allowed just two Duquesne goals in the second half and grew their lead to the final 20-5 margin with the last goal coming from Tibbs with a minute left on the clock
