• The Rams got a goal from Whitmore just before the half in what was the first of six straight goals for VCU
• The 6-0 run spanned across three quarters as VCU held La Salle scoreless from the 4:10 mark in the second quarter until there was 11:57 left in the fourth quarter
• Mia George's goal with 12:28 left in the contest put VCU up 9-4. La Salle only got as close as a three-goal margin the rest of the way
