  • VCU got a goal with six seconds before the half from George to lead 11-8 at the break
  • The Rams rode the momentum and pulled away early in the third quarter, scoring six goals in less than six minutes to lead 16-8 with 8:26 left in the period
  • VCU outscored the Patriots 7-4 down the stretch to extend its lead for the final margin
