Emmanuel Oche finishes his freshman indoor season taking home gold in men's 60m dash and Junior
John Casper secures second medal of the weekend on day two.

THROWS
- Junior John Casper took home his second medal of the weekend, finishing third in the men's shot put (15.85m). VCU's freshman pairing of Diego Turner and Shinobu Hawk competed in the shot put. Diego threw 15.02m and Hawk finished behind him throwing 14.82m
JUMPS
- Freshman Jaiden Ogelsby jumped 1.98m in the men's high jump event.
- In the triple jump event junior David Coles was the Black and Gold's top finisher, jumping 14.69m, freshman teammate Isaiah Kargbo-Owens also competed in the triple jump landing a, 14.42m jump.
SPRINTS
- Oche's time was one-thousandth of second (6.727) faster than Rhode Island's Tristan Howard (6.728). Senior Darius Reed secured bronze running 6.85.
- In the 400m dash VCU Freshman Chanan Mathis led the way for the Rams placing third in the final (48.11).
- Senior Lewis Freeman finished third in 500m final, finishing with a time of 1:04.35
- In the 60m hurdles Junior Marcus Wilson took home silver for the rams, crossing the finish in 8.14.
Relays
- In an exciting 4x400 relay VCU (Freshman Jude Okafor, Junior Kacey Pratt, Senior Lewis Freeman, Mathis) comes out on top crossing the finish line in 3:13.52. The Rams controlled the lead for majority of the race, then briefly fell behind before securing the win within the last 100m.
