The Short Story: VCU took the doubles point in convincing fashion and quickly won three singles to clinch its eighth victory of the season en route to an overall 6-1 win. 

Opening Serve

  • The Rams took the doubles point on courts one and two
  • Junior Yelizaveta Karlova stayed undefeated on court one with a 6-0, 6-2 victory
  • Junior Anja Draskovic clinched the match on court three with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 win
  • Freshman Tania Isabel Andrade Sabando battled in three sets on court two for her win
  • Coming off a clinching match, freshman Tiziana Rossini won her third match in a row on court six
