The Short Story:  Freshman Chanan Mathis ran 21.91 in the men's 200m, Mathis now ranks as the number one ranked freshman in the A-10 and sixth overall.

SPRINTS

• In the men's 60m prelims, senior Darius Reed led the way for the Rams running 6.90, finishing third.
•  Freshman Jordan Davis posted a personal record in the 60m prelims finishing in 6.95. Sophomore Aubrey Bryant also competed in the 60m, crossing the finish in 6.99.
• Senior Lewis Freeman finished fifth in the 500m dash finishing in 1:04.88.
• Freshman Jude Okafor was the top finisher for the Rams in the 400m running 49.59.

HURDLES

• Junior Marcus Wilson ran 8.21 in the men's 60m hurdles.

DISTANCE

• Senior Kyle Weldon secured silver in the 3000m.
   

Throws

• Freshman Devon Brooks threw 14.76m in the weight throw event.
• Brooks also led the in the weight throw for the Rams throwing 14.76m.

Relays

• In the 4 X 400 VCU (Okafor, Bowers, Motley, Cassell) finished in 3:19.15.
