- During that span, VCU went from trailing 15-11 with 4:13 left in the first quarter to leading 32-15 with five minutes left before halftime during the run
- A Cyriah Griffin 3-pointer with five seconds left in the second quarter gave the Rams a 41-20 lead heading into halftime. Griffin scored seven of her 15 points in the final 2:32 of the first half
