VCU was unable to overcome UMass' efficiency on penalty corners as the Rams fell to the Minutewomen in their A-10 Semifinal game.

  • VCU and UMass went back-and-forth through the first quarter until the 14th minute when the Minutewomen scored off a deflection following a penalty corner to lead 1-0
  • The second quarter repeated the first, with both teams battling until UMass again capitalized on a penalty corner just before halftime in the 28th minute to lead 2-0
  • UMass pushed its lead to 3-0 on another penalty corner in the 35th minute
  • The Minutewomen scored the game's final goal just over three minutes later to increased their lead to 4-0
