VCU scored six goals in the first 18:05 of the contest and cruised to its largest margin of victory since 2018.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • VCU scored just 2:25 into the game as Padgett put the Rams up 1-0
  • The Rams doubled their lead in the 8th minute as Morena Macera converted a penalty stroke to make it 2-0
  • Fehr scored back-to-back goals in the 9th and 15th minute to give VCU a 4-0 lead at the end of the first quarter
  • Fasold got on the scoresheet in the 17th minute to make it 5-0 with Padgett scoring in the 19th minute to increase VCU's lead to 6-0
  • The Rams added a third quarter goal from Fasold and a fourth quarter goal from Deaver for the final margin
