THE SHORT STORY: Allison Karpovich continued her dominance between the posts for the Rams, tying her career-high nine saves to record her fourth shutout in six contests. VCU stretched its unbeaten streak to six and it extended its undefeated A-10 schedule through five matches with a 0-0 draw against Loyola Chicago.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Karpovich set her pace early in the match, facing a trio of shots in the seventh and eighth minutes and saving all three
- Y-Van Nguyen fired off one of the game's closest chances for the Rams, sending a rocket that missed by mere inches off of the right post and wide in the 19th minute
- Forcing a turnover near the center circle, Milica Bulatovic made a run to the 18 yard box and fired a hard shot into the arms of a diving Allison Deardorff in goal for Loyola
- Eller landed a shot on goal in the 76th minute, lacing it past a Ramblers defender from inside the penalty box, but Deardoss made her third save of the night
- In the 90th minute, Karpovich made the final save of the game on an attempt from Loyola's Taylor Harrison to secure the 0-0 draw
