- Kraszula's unbelievable olimpico goal gave the Rams an early lead in the 19th minute
- In the 26th minute, Duquesne had an answer on forward Margey Brown's ninth goal of the season
- VCU took its deciding lead in the 65th minute as Y-Van Nguyen dropped the ball back to Matsuhisa at 20 yards out and she curled it over the head of goalkeeper Maddy Neundorfer
- The Rams earned their 10th point in the Atlantic 10 standings with the 2-1 victory
