- The Rams opened the scoring just before halftime in the 27th minute as Fasold scored an unassisted goal
- The Tribe tied the game late in the third quarter in the 43rd minute with a goal from Emme Schwartz
- VCU got the game-winner from Fehr in the 46th minute as she collected a rebound and beat the goalkeeper
