The Short Story:  Freshman Kacey Pratt captured gold in the men's 400m race (50.67). Two Rams set personal best in the weight throw; junior John Casper threw 20.06m in the event on the way to a second-place finish.

• Freshman Donovan Motley was VCU's top finisher in the 200m placing fifth.
• Freshman Jaiden Oglesby also ran finishing 19.

• Freshman Diego Turner led the Rams in the shot put, throwing 14.79m.
