Ana Brangioni posted six kills and 14 digs to pace VCU, but it wasn't enough for the Rams to hold off Georgetown Sunday.

- Brangioni also contributed a pair of service aces and a block to the VCU effort, while senior middle blocker Jasmine Knight turned in six kills and four blocks
- Junior setter Taylor Aguano provided 13 assists, four digs and a pair of aces for the Black and Gold, while senior middle blocker Sarah Stratton spiked five kills
- Peyton Wilhite led the Hoyas with 10 kills, 12 digs and four blocks

HE DIFFERENCE
- The Rams were unable to get on track offensively. VCU hit .000 in the match on 98 attempts, while Georgetown hit .248. VCU recorded a negative hitting percentage in two of Sunday's three sets
- Georgetown outblocked VCU 9-6
- VCU threatened in the second set, using a kill by freshman outside hitter Sydney Houchens to pull even at 22-22. But the Hoyas received a kill and a block from Wilhite as Georgetown closed with three straight points
