HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Rams took a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute as Maggie Goodwin's effort towards goal was redirected by Mora Marrero
- Georgetown equalized in the 15th minute as Sophie Towne scored off a penalty corner
- VCU went up 2-1 in the 22nd minute as Goodwin dribble in off the end line and had her shot beat the goalkeeper
- The Rams went up 3-1 in the 33rd minute as Macera scored off a penalty corner
- The Black and Gold went up 4-1 in the 36th minute after Macera assisted Marrero for the goal
- Georgetown scored in the 41st minute to make it 4-2 but VCU's defense held off the Hoyas for the rest of the game
