HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Rams took a 1-0 lead in the 11^th minute as Maggie Goodwin's effort towards goal was redirected by Mora Marrero
• Georgetown equalized in the 15^th minute as Sophie Towne scored off a penalty corner
• VCU went up 2-1 in the 22^nd minute as Goodwin dribble in off the end line and had her shot beat the goalkeeper
• The Rams went up 3-1 in the 33^rd minute as Macera scored off a penalty corner
• The Black and Gold went up 4-1 in the 36^th minute after Macera assisted Marrero for the goal
• Georgetown scored in the 41^st minute to make it 4-2 but VCU's defense held off the Hoyas for the rest of the game
