OPENING SERVE
- The Rams clinched the doubles point after earning wins on courts two and one, respectively
- Matisse Bobichon and Rayane Stable won by a convincing 6-1 margin while Charles Bertimon and Maxence Bertimon won their doubles match 6-3
- Stable then won his singles match on court three 6-1, 6-1 to put VCU up 2-0. Joaquim Almeida quickly followed on court six with his defeat of Jerry Wang 6-2, 6-0 to make it 3-0
- Bobichon clinched the sweep of the match on court one with a 6-1, 6-1 win
- VCU is seeking to win its sixth straight Atlantic 10 Championship. The Rams have played for every conference championship since 2007
