OPENING SERVE

• The Rams clinched the doubles point after Romain Gales and Joaquim Almeida took a 6-0 win on court three followed by a 6-3 win on court two from Matisse Bobichon and Rayane Stable
• VCU pushed its lead to 2-0 after Gales earned a convincing 6-2, 6-1 win on court four
• The Black and Gold earned the final two points on courts two and five with Stable winning 6-0, 6-3 and Almeida winning 7-6 (5), 6-0, respectively
• VCU has reached the A-10 Semifinals each year since joining the league in 2012-13
