- Sarah Te-Biasu connected on 5-of-13 attempts from the floor and added three rebounds, two steals for the Black and Gold
- Timaya Lewis-Eutsey added 11 points, three steals, and two rebounds, while Mary Anna-Asare recorded nine points and two rebounds

THE DIFFERENCE
- The two squads battled neck-and-neck and were tied 13-13 at the end of the first
- Te-Biasu ignited the 17-2 second quarter outburst for the Rams midway through the period with a pull-up 3-pointer. Te-Biasu hit three 3-pointers during the run
- The Monarchs cut it to as close as 39-33 with 4:26 Â in the third period but VCU responded with an 9-2 run capped off by a 3-pointer from Deniz Torgut
- VCU got stops on the defensive end, limiting ODU shot shoot 23.1 percent in the fourth quarter, to keep the Monarchs at bay. VCU led by as many as 15 points
- It was the sixth time this season the Rams held an opponent to 50 points or less
- The Rams also outrebounded ODU 44-30 and led 14-5 in second chance points
