- The Rams blew the game open in the second quarter, shooting 57.1 percent from the field and outscoring the Tribe 24-9 and taking a 40-24 lead into halftime
- Te-Biasu eclipsed 1,000 points on a 3-pointer with 6:15 left in the third quarter, giving VCU a 50-34 lead
- The Rams led by as many as 20 points in the second half in the win
