HOW IT HAPPENED:

• VCU jumped out to an early lead, scoring three times in the first quarter. Marrero opened the scoring in the 6^th minute on an assist from Ventimiglia
• The Rams doubled their lead in the 7^th minute as Macera scored on an assist from Snead
• Marrero scored her second goal in the 12^th minute to put the Rams up 3-0 at the end of the first quarter
• Rosenbrock extended the lead further in the 43^rd minute on an unassisted goal
• The Rams got two fourth quarter goals with Carr-Brown and Deaver each scoring to push their lead to 6-0
