The Short Story: VCU Men's Tennis continued their fall tournaments with a trip to Duke for the James Bonk Invite. Sophomore Joaquim Almeida, freshman Sam Baumgartner, freshman Etienne Marty, and freshman Romain Gales all competed and were highlighted by a consolation first place doubles win by Baumgartner and Marty in the C draw.

Opening Serve: 

• Baumgartner and Marty won in the doubles C draw consolation finals over Krisitc/ Queiroz (Elon), 6-3.
• Almeida and Gales came in third place in the doubles B draw defeating Nagoudi/ Lombisano (ETSU) 6-3
• Almeida came in sixth place in the singles A draw 
• Gales came in 14th place in the singles B draw
