VCU WINS COMEBACK THRILLER OVER BROWN IN OVERTIME

The Short Story: VCU trailed 2-0 at halftime but scored three unanswered goals to upend previously unbeaten Brown in overtime.

  • VCU began its comeback in the 42nd minute as Rosenbrock scored from close range on a pass from Padgett to make it 2-1
  • The Rams tied the game in the 59th minute as McCormick forced overtime with her goal off an assist from Field
  • Field scored the game-winning goal in the 66th minute off a pass that was deflected by the keeper
