WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ADDS TRANSFER JENNIFER EZEH

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Basketball head coach Beth O'Boyle has announced the addition of Jennifer Ezeh, a transfer from Missouri State.

Ezeh, a former four-star recruit that was ranked No. 65 overall by ESPN in high school, joins VCU after spending last season with the Bears. The Bears, who reached the NCAA Tournament Second Round, posted a 25-8 record as Ezeh appeared in 14 games with nine starts. She averaged 3.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game.

"We're extremely excited to add Jennifer to our program. She adds a wealth of experience to our team from her collegiate competition. Jennifer's an athletic post who fits great into our up-tempo style of play. She is a tremendous rebounder who runs the floor hard and can score both off the bounce and from the low block," O'Boyle said.

Ezeh, a native of Nibo, Anambra State, Nigeria, spent her first two seasons at Duke where she signed out of high school but did not appear in any games as she battled injuries. Ezeh was a standout at New Hope Academy (Md.) high school and averaged 15.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Ezeh also has experience playing for Nigeria's youth national teams and led New Hope to the GEICO National Championship as a senior in high school.
