VCU WINS 13TH STRAIGHT, ADVANCES TO A-10 CHAMPIONSHIP

The Short Story: VCU won its 13th consecutive game in a dominant 4-0 sweep of Davidson to advance to the Atlantic 10 Championship match.

  • The Rams have reached the A-10 Championship each year since joining the league
  • VCU will play for its fifth consecutive A-10 title having won it in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. The 2020 tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Inigo Torre Martin Martin and Rayane Stable clinched the doubles point for VCU with their 6-2 win on court two after Joaquim Almeida and Matisse Bobichon's 6-1 win on court three
  • Stable earned VCU's first singles victory with a 6-0, 6-3 win on court five
  • The Rams sealed the match when Charles Bertimon defeated Alejandro Solares 6-2, 6-2 on court one
