OPENING SERVE:

• The Rams have reached the A-10 Championship match every year since joining the league
• VCU secured the doubles point with two 6-1 victories. The Rams claimed quick wins on courts one and two
• Junior Gabriela Davidescu and senior Shivani Manjanna clinched the doubles point one court immediately following graduate Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado and freshman Laura Garcia Astudillo's 6-1 win
• Diaz-Delgado put VCU up 2-0 with a dominant 6-0, 6-2 win over Josie Schaffer on court one
• Freshman Yelizaveta Karlova sealed the win with a 6-3, 6-4 win on court two to send VCU back to the A-10 Championship match
