• St. Bonaventure scored the first goal of the second quarter to get within 3-2 but VCU scored five unanswered goals to take an 8-2 lead into halftime
• The Bonnies would get no closer than five goals in the second half and the Rams outscored them 4-1 in the fourth quarter to pull away
