OPENING SERVE
  • VCU opened the match by claiming the doubles point with strong victories on courts one and three
  • The no. 38 ranked pairing of Senior Charles and Junior Maxence Bertimon improved to 10-3 on the season with a convincing 6-3 victory over Kerim Hyatt and Kaisei Kuroki
  • Sophomore Matisse Bobichon notched his ninth straight victory and his first from court four this season with a commanding 6-2, 6-1 win over Jordan McClure to give the Rams their first singles point of the contest
  • Charles Bertimon took home a dominant 6-2, 6-1 victory over Kerim Hyatt to improve to 7-5 on the season from the no. 1 position
  • Graduate Student Inigo Torre Martin clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Peyton Gatti. This win improves Torre Martin's singles record to 9-5 on the season
