• Senior Charles Bertimon kicked off the singles scoring for the Rams by defeating no. 102 ranked Jonas Ziverts 6-3, 6-4
• Sophomore Matisse Bobichon continued his hot run of form, tallying his eighth straight singles victory over Arizona's Carlos Hassey. Bobichon took the final two sets 6-4, 6-3 to claim the match
• Grad Student Inigo Torre Martin clinched the match for VCU with a three-set victory over no.71 Colton Smith. Torre Martin went down one set early but commanded the match from then on taking a pair of 6-4 victories to win the match
