OPENING SERVE:

• The Rams claimed the doubles point with two convincing victories on courts two and three
• Grad Student Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado and Freshman Laura Garcia Astudillo took home a 6-3 win from court two. With the win the pairing improves to 4-0 on the spring season
• Grad Student Nina Sorkin kicked off singles for the Rams with a commanding 6-2, 6-2 win on court four. This marks the fifth straight singles victory for Sorkin
• Freshman Yelizaveta Karlova claimed a dominant 6-0, 6-1 win over ECU's Alisa Diercksen. Diercksen led the ECU with 23 singles wins during the 2018-19 season
• Freshman Anja Draskovic clinched the match for VCU with a hard fought 7-5, 6-3 victory from court five. This marks her fourth singles victory on the spring season
