• VCU claimed the doubles point after picking up wins from courts two and three
• Grad Student Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado and Freshman Laura Garcia controlled the action on court two and came away with a 6-4 to clinch the point
• Senior Nina Sorkin claimed a commanding 6-1, 6-1 victory on court four to give the Rams a three point advantage in the match
• Diaz-Delgado took a dominating 6-0, 6-2 victory over Richmond Emily Dunbar to clinch the match for the Rams. Dunbar was a 2021 First Team All-Atlantic 10 selection
